Hisense leads LED backlight standard development

Chinese scientist Dr. Liu Weidong from Hisense Group Co., Ltd put forward the first standard for LED backlight in liquid crystal display at the annual meeting of IEC/TC110 in Japan. Draft resolution led by Dr.Liu made his mark by experts from Japan, Republic of Korea, United States and Holland. Korean experts will join Dr. Liu drafting the general standard for LED backlight assembly in liquid crystal display.
