On February 21, Commissioner of State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) Shen Changyu met with Mr. Daren Tang, Chief Executive of the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS) in Beijing. Among other topics, both sides thoroughly discussed the main cooperation projects between both countries, which are the Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City and the "Belt and Road" Symposium on Commercialization of Intellectual Property. Mr. Shen Changyu remarked that ever since China and Singapore signed the bilateral Memorandum of Understanding on Intellectual Property, the cooperation between SIPO and IPOS has attained new heights. Shen Changyu expressed wishes to strengthen all multilateral projects under the framework of the "Belt and Road" initiative and to drive the Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City to become a paradigm of cooperation. He also expressed his desire to further improve practical cooperation so that both sides may walk along towards beneficial development. Daren Tang noted that during the past few years Sino-Singapore relations have grown stronger, that cooperation fields have widened and that outstanding results have been achieved.
