Circular on IPR protection of 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games

Eight ministries including SIPO, Information Office of the State Council and Ministry of Public Security jointly released the Circular on IPR protection of 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games. The circular stresses that efforts should be striven to enhance trans-regional and trans-department law enforcement cooperation, strengthen coordination and communication, intensify the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games IPR protection.  


Under the circular, Guangzhou is the center of IPR protection with Guangdong province is the key point and other regions should be also be involved. Related departments should learn the successful experiences of Beijing Olympic Games and Shanghai Expo IPR protection. The circular specifies eight points of protecting Guangzhou Asian Games, namely deepening understanding, increasing publicity, enhancing cooperation and communication, establishing quick response mechanism, facilitating IPR examination  etc.
