2010 Chinese top 500 companies list released

China Enterprise Confederation and China Enterprise Directors Association, on September 4, released its latest list of the country’s top 500 companies. The innovation capability of the top 500 companies is further enhanced, and some of them have become the international standard maker, the report said.

Sinopec topped the list with revenue of 1.39 trillion yuan, the State Grid and CNPC are followed with 1.26 trillion yuan and 1.21 trillion yuan respectively. China Mobile, ICBC, China Construction Bank, PICC, China Railway Construction and Bank of Agriculture are ranking the forth to tenth.

According to the report, China’s large companies’ R&D inputs were increased by 14.5% over last year, and the proportion of R&D to revenue is on the rise.
