Plan on Protection of Patent of 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games

In an effort to create sound IPR protection environment for Asian Games, Guangdong IP office released the Plan on Protection of Patent of 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games recently, requiring authorities in Guangzhou to follow instructions of SIPO to protect the patent right of Asian Games.

Under the plan, concerted efforts would be made to establish a unimpeded channel to notify IPR information and case, intensify patent protection of Asian Games, step up the popularization of IP protection and “12330” hotline for IPR enforcement service, establish the law enforcement and inspection mechanism, adopt concrete and effective measures to handle infringement cases of Asian Games.
