The World Patent & Trademark Law Office (WPTO) was founded in 1951 and through its management philosophy of professional integrity and trust, it has dedicated itself to the patent and trademark practice and has formed long-term strategic alliances with more than one hundred prestigious law firms around the world.
Moreover, WPTO is a member of numerous world-renowned international IP organizations, such as the International Trademark Association (INTA), the Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA), and the China Intellectual Property Society (CIPS).
As a result of the continuing effort from our former directors (including Mr Zhang Dong-Ming, Mr Huang Rr-Han, Mr Wu Chang-Liang and Mr Cai Tian-Duo), as well as a number of previous senior patent and trademark examiners in the Taiwan Intellectual Property Office (TIPO), a total of 42 patent and trademark cases executed by us have been chosen by the Supreme Court of Republic of China as legal precedents.
