SIPO shapes committee for outside counsel

Advisory Committee of Experts on State IPR was set up on August 5 in Yantai, Shandong, SIPO commissioner Tian Lianpu attended the opening ceremony and rendered the letter of appointment to the first experts.
Tian Lipu hoped that the Advisory Committee of Experts would offer advice to IPR legal construction and policy-making.
Right now, building an expert database is an important task of SIPO capacity building program and the Advisory Committee of Experts is one part of the bigger talent pool. The committee will sit together on scheduled or unscheduled basis to perform sessions, special-subject consulting meetings, research and investigation, written and individual counseling to guide the policy researching on major issues in IPR development, and offer consultation and suggestions to strategic and key issues decision-making.
