24.02% growth for software copyright registrations in first half

According to China Copyright Protection Center, China's computer software copyright registration has maintained rapid growth for the past three years. As of June 30, software copyright registration amounted to 35,062 in the first half, up 24.02%, registrations for the games software skyrocketed by 73.5%.
Among the 35,062 registrations in the first half, 28,721 of which (81.9%) were from companies, 4,193 (11.9%) were from universities and research institutes, and 1,756 (5%) wrer from natural persons.(By Yao Wenping)
