The Supreme People’s Court (SPC),on July 1, released Several Opinions on Providing Judicial Safeguard and Service for Accelerating the Transformation of Economic Growth, requiring the courts at all levels to beef up IPR judicial protection to promote strategic industrial development.
Under the opinion, calling for proper trial of IPR cases to safeguard the innovative spirits and capabilities of the society, step up protection of well-known trademark, new varieties of plants，the trademark right of strategic, beef up copyright protection including publishing, radio, film and art, crack down on various IPR violations, facilitate the sound development of cultural innovation.
